A little less talk, and a lot more action.

For some reason I was gifted a very bizarre ability to know nearly every obscure country song from the 90's.  This in no way means I'm a die-hard fan of that genre and era, just that I probably know songs that others wouldn't (or shouldn't, for that matter).

When sitting down to write this morning, a lyric came to mind. "A little less talk and a lot more action." Lo and behold it is a country song, circa 1993.

It's the theme of today and re-starting this blog. I started blogging a little over a year ago, I wrote about a spiritual journey that I had somehow found myself on and wrote of very personal encounters of my past. It was cathartic though left me feeling personally over exposed. The blog, afterall, was a 'bit' self indulgent.

Over the past 14 months, I'd like to think I have 'privately' evolved in a new direction with a new purpose, while some things drifted to the wayside and others came to the forefront.

I have been thinking about re-starting this blog and breathing life back into a brand (Frost & Sea) that has been a true inspiration for me since the beginning. I have talked about it with my friends, taken notes, done research, plotted and planned...and yet...took no action. I felt a bit stunted with movement even though it was all I could think of.

This morning that changed.  I woke up at the crack of dawn and thought; I'm done talking- I just need to do it. Regardless if it's perfect.  Cue song:  "A little less talk and a lot more action."

This blog is a creative release for me; therefore you can expect blogs on jewelry, island towns, mountain communities, tea parties, interior decorating, homes...and of course the random shout out to my friends, families and all their successes. This is an ever evolving list. But rest assured, they are all things that TRULY inspire me.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, and again: Inspiration is Everywhere and I'm so glad to have found it this new beginning and am blessed to begin, again.
